Prologue New Play Festival

The Prologue New Play Festival showcases new plays from Taiwan through staged readings. We select works by playwrights who explore bold ideas, offer fresh perspectives, and experiment with form and style. More than just a launchpad for new work, the festival serves as a bridge between playwrights and audiences, inviting conversation, reflection, and connection.

Since 2024, the Prologue New Play Festival has been generously supported by Believe in Next Generation, a Taipei-based non-profit commited to mentoring and promoting emerging youth.
