The Prologue New Play Festival showcases new plays from Taiwan through staged readings. More than just a launchpad for new work, the festival serves as a bridge between playwrights and audiences, inviting conversation, reflection, and connection.

The Playwright in Focus Festival introduces Taiwanese audiences to the body of work by a single playwright. By presenting staged readings of plays from different stages of their career, the festival traces the evolution of the writer’s voice and artistic vision. It offers a space for both the playwright and the audience to look back, reflect, and explore how far they’ve come together.
