Resident Artists

01

We invite playwrights eager to develop their unique voices and styles and explore new narratives to become resident artists at Prologue. Our resident artists gain access to library resources, administrative support, dramaturgical consultations, developmental workshops, and international networking opportunities.

Writers Group

02

Our writers group is designed for emerging playwrights ready to embark on their first major projects. Through a series of reading and writing exercises, culminating in staged readings of selected scenes, members experience the full process of drafting, revising, receiving dramaturgical consultations, and incorporating critical feedback.

International Play Salon

03

The international play salon is a book club where participants read and discuss plays from diverse societal and cultural contexts. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore different storytelling techniques and reflect on how plays are written and produced in Taiwan. Our goal is to leave reading footprints across the world within five years.

New Play
Development Workshop

04

Our new play development workshop provides playwrights with a collaborative space to refine their work. Here, they can test concepts, receive feedback, and develop their plays with the support of actors, directors, and dramaturgs. Whether a play enters Prologue through an application or by invitation, we hope our workshop serves as a stepping stone on its journey to full production.
