Wei Zhuang
Hailing from Chiayi, Jing-Wei Zhuang is a multi-hyphenate theatre artist with a robust foundation in both design and performance. She holds a BFA in Scenic Design and an MFA in Directing, both from the Taipei National University of the Arts.
Currently active as a director, actor, and stage designer, Jing-Wei's creative practice focuses on the intersection of physical movement and written texts. Her work often investigates Taiwanese history and culture, gender and social issues, aiming to develop interdisciplinary performances that challenge the boundaries of contemporary theatre.
